The location was lovely, being a short walk from the Riverwalk and several attractions. The room was spacious with modern decor and the comfort of having a fridge and microwave was a plus, especially with kids. While breakfast was decent, it did get crowded and some options ran out quickly. Overall, a solid choice for a family-friendly stay with easy access to the heart of San Antonio.

The breakfast spread at Embassy Suites was a feast fit for royalty—endless eggs and fresh fruit that filled the belly and stoked the wanderlust! Plus, the location was prime for hitting the River Walk and Alamo—perfect for a family outing. Kudos to the staff for their warmth and the gorgeous lobby that felt like stepping into a fiesta!
While the lobby dazzled, the reception crew left us hanging. They were friendly but didn’t have the goods on the best local spots or how to navigate the River Walk. A concierge could've made our adventuring much smoother. Still, we had a blast overall with a few bumps!

The room was spacious with a separate living area, making it comfortable when relaxing. The breakfast offerings were outstanding, particularly the fresh egg station, and the evening drink reception was a delightful bonus. The location right near the Riverwalk was perfect for exploring.
The elevators were limited, causing long waits during busy times.

missingWrote a review on Nov 14great locationdelicious breakfastspacious roomchaotic parking
Location near the riverwalk offers easy access to restaurants and shops. Outstanding breakfast spread with a made-to-order omelet station sets this place apart.
Facilities show signs of age with dirty carpets and plumbing fixtures needing attention. Valet parking feels chaotic with long waits, especially during peak times, making it a hassle to get your car. A lack of coffee cups and basic toiletries like soap or shampoo made for some inconvenient moments.

Our room was spacious, but housekeeping was inconsistent during our stay.

The breakfast was a delightful feast fit for royalty—made-to-order omelets that rival my mother's cooking and a buffet that had enough options to make a buffet line at a wedding jealous! The happy hour? Two free cocktails felt like I hit the jackpot after a long day of exploring.

The breakfast buffet was most amazing. Best of any hotel I’ve ever had. There was this incredible spread that we looked forward to each morning. like a feast! Also, the lobby was a beautiful, great place to gather and visit, or just be alone. It was very relaxing, just the kind of area to unwind after a long day. My kids absolutely loved the pool too, they played for hours while I kept an eye on them from a comfy chair.
It wasn’t inexpensive. but still acceptable considering the experience.

perfect central spot for weekend exploring and park views
my stay was delightful, especially because I was just a few steps from the beautiful River Walk and nearby attractions like The Alamo, making it super easy to see everything, plus I enjoyed the nightly cocktail reception which was a nice touch after a day of exploring. As a single traveler, I found the spacious room with a river view was perfect for relaxing after long walks through the city. but the breakfast service could be better communicated to avoid dress code surprises.

Yo, if you’re a foodie, don’t miss out on the nearby Iron Cactus for killer margaritas or Bunz for the juiciest handcrafted burgers right around the corner! Plus, the free breakfast here is a game changer—made-to-order omelettes steal the show. Can’t forget, the staff is super friendly, making you feel right at home!
That room was about as fresh as last week’s tacos—like, rust in the bathroom and stained carpets? Not cool, y'all. And don’t even get me started on the pool, which is basically a glorified kiddie pool. Seriously, housekeeping needs a pep talk!
